Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, I came to jazz later in life. However my background in visual art influences how I build sound - through layering, space, and subtle shifts. I perform in trio and ensemble settings across the San Francisco Bay Area - blending jazz, pop, and Latin music with a modern sensibility.
서울에서 자랐으나 지금은 캘리포니아를 기반으로 활동하는 재즈 피아니스트이자 화가입니다. 조금은 늦게 재즈의 세계에 발을 들였으나, 미술을 전공한 저는 레이어링과 여백, 그리고 미세한 변화를 통해 소리를 만들어 갑니다. 현재 샌프란시스코 베이 지역을 중심으로 트리오 및 앙상블 공연을 하고 있으며, 재즈와 팝, 라틴 장르를 현대적인 감각으로 재창조하는 음악을 지향합니다.
