About Ina
Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, I am a jazz pianist and visual artist based in California. I came to jazz later in life, and my background in visual art continues to shape how I build sound through layering, space, and texture.I lead the Inamation Trio and perform across the San Francisco Bay Area, blending jazz, pop, and Latin influences with a modern sensibility.
저는 서울에서 태어나 자랐으며, 현재 캘리포니아를 기반으로 활동하는 재즈 피아니스트이자 화가입니다. 늦게 재즈를 시작했지만, 미술을 전공한 경험은 레이어링과 여백, 질감으로 소리를 구성하는 제 방식에 깊이 스며 있습니다.현재 Inamation 트리오를 이끌며 샌프란시스코 베이 지역을 중심으로 활동하고 있으며, 재즈와 팝, 라틴 장르를 현대적인 감각으로 풀어내고 있습니다.

In trio settings, I focus on melodic clarity and groove. I reinterpret standards through contemporary rhythms and layered harmony, creating space for subtle shifts and musical conversation.
